Oppo’s new smartphone R17 Pro is finally official, and almost all the information about that device have been released now. It can be called as an alternative to its successor Oppo Find X with lesser chipset but supports SuperVOOC and improved cameras.
The Oppo R17 Pro comes loaded with Snapdragon 710 chipset accompanying 128GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM, but the drawback is that it does not support microSD slot for further space.
The smartphone features a 6.4 inch AMOLED display with waterdrop-style notch and an FHD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. According to Oppo, the screen-to-body ratio stands at the impressive 91.5% and is protected by Corning’s latest Gorilla Glass 6.
Other important specifications of the smartphone are the camera department, here you get a 25MP f/2.0 on the notch at the front, while the back is loaded with triple camera setup.
The triple camera setup on the back is set to include a 12MP camera, a 20MP camera, and the third one is a 3D TOF depth sensor. Oppo says that the 3D TOF sensor can be used to capture 3D photo or can be treated as a gaming console or you can even use it to connect to your TV.
Another fantastic feature of this phone is its under-display fingerprint sensor. It also comes with an extended lasting battery of 3700 mAh, which is partitioned into two halves of 1850 mAh each. It also supports 50W SuperVOOC charging technology, and Oppo claims that with this you can charge your phone super quick.
As per the information provided, Oppo R17 pro can be put on sale after mid-October in China and can cost you around CNY 4,299($625). Till now there’s no word about worldwide availability and pricing.
