Now no need to do any irritating finger exercise when attempting to open your phone because LG introduced smartphone cover glass with an embedded fingerprint sensor that is located under the handset display. Usually the fingerprint scanners on other smartphones are placed under a button like the home button. As if there is no home button the manufacturers can enhance the design of their device.
According to LG, “Just place your finger anywhere on the screen for instant recognition and then it will identify your fingerprint. This module is sealed under a layer of glass so it remains protected from splashes and scratches. It has enhanced the user-friendly function.
Previously, you are required to press a finger on a raised square or circular button for your fingerprint to be read exactly, so the sensor was usually mounted on the front, rear or side buttons of a smartphone.
LG Innotek cut a shallow furrow of 0.01inches (0.3mm) thick on the lower backside of a smartphone’s cover glass. They installed the fingerprint sensor inside of it with their own technology.
LG is expected to get an increase in his smartphone’s demand because of this new feature. For more details on fingerprint scanner, you can check the company’s website which is listed below.
